Charity Committee
We're all about making a difference and doing the right thing. In fact, they're two of our guiding principles - developed by our people for our people and combine the best of who we are today with who we aspire to be. Our clients come first, but we also want to have a positive impact on our wider community.
The Charity Committee has been set up to focus our charitable efforts, to help us make a real difference to charities that have a clear link to our guiding principles. Following nominations and a vote across the Group, the current BM chosen charities are:
Mental Health First Aiders
MHFA England describes the role of a Mental Health First Aider in the workplace as “a point of contact for an employee who is experiencing a mental health issue or emotional distress”.
Our team of Mental Health First Aiders provides an avenue for people that are struggling, and is available to colleagues who need someone to talk to in complete confidence.
Social Committee
We're all about being connected – not only with our clients, but with each other. We work hard, but there's value in making time to play hard too.
The Social Committee are in charge of organising and hosting events to help employees spend social time with colleagues.
