Middlesex County Cricket Club Sponsorship

Win, Lose, or Draw?

Our sponsorship of MCCC is now well underway and is proving a great success for both parties.

The first few matches of the season saw mixed results with a loss, a win and a draw. The match between

MCCC and Surrey was nail biting, with MCCC finally triumphing with a three run victory over Surrey

(what a difference one ball can make!). Tim Murtagh's 50 yard dash towards the Tavern Stand to be taken

down by his thrilled teammates after he took the winning wicket was a great sight.

Simply the Best

Guests of ours that have attended matches so far have thoroughly enjoyed the day and we have been

receiving edited match highlights from the Middlesex Marketing Team which can be viewed below on

their Youtube channel.

Cricket Gets Clever

Our adverts that currently appear on the perimeter wall outside the Tavern Bar, and in match day

programmes, are also attracting a fair bit of interest as each “advert” is actually a cricketing fact. If you

have an interesting or amusing fact we’d love to hear it. Email us at: cricket@brooksmacdonald.com

History

Following significant growth over recent years, the Brooks Macdonald Group have been looking at various ways to further

increase the visibility of the Brooks Macdonald brand.

As a firm that is passionate about both wealth management and sport and having considered a number of opportunities,

the sponsorship of Middlesex was by far the strongest fit, as well as a logical expansion of the long running sponsorship of

schools’ sports teams and other amateur sports clubs, which number in excess of 50 since the company launched back in 1997.

The deal with Middlesex is a three year agreement which began in January 2012.
